<description>In order to launch a new sub-brand in their mattress portfolio, The Silentnight Group required a flexible identity for ‘Layezee Beds’, that could be used throughout the company from packaging labels to delivery vehicles.

The simple visual connection between a Capital ‘L’ turned 90 degrees and people featured using the bed, successfully brought humanity to the brand. The mark was also used as an illustration to promote specific features within the range.

<description>The Chase had built up a strong portfolio of property development projects, which could be utilised as a new business tool. Our aim was to grab the attention of marketing managers by producing an unusual piece of direct mail.

The solution was a life sized house brick made from a single sheet of card. When openned, a range of tiles gave a brief synopsis of each project. The words ‘Intellectual Property’ was embossed on the brick and letter inside each brick, to explain the value of our unique solutions.

<description>The entrance to the Purpose Design studio was up a small flight of stairs, past a single toilet before arriving at the studio. Not the best entrance for our clients. We needed to make the journey visibly entertaining.

We used the layout to our benefit by adding a visual of a latrine to the door, with the handle becoming the flushing mechanism.

<description>Spellman Walker are a specialist printers known for their amazing use of colour. We were asked to produce a piece of direct mail that would keep them front of mind with their clients.

365 PANTONE chips were used to represent each day of the year. Colour became the seasons, and the colour breakdowns became the day and date. The calendar was reversed so each day could be picked off, one at a time.

<description>To celebrate Christmas, Gavin Martin Associates decided to hold a Curryoke party - an evening of curry and karaoke - and asked us to design the invitation.

We subverted popular Karaoke songs and the iconic Indian take away container to create a memorable invite.

The invitations where delivered in a brown paper bag containing a number of curry stained containers, each with a different song message scrawled on the top. Songs include: ‘Murder on Dhansk floor’, ‘Love me tandoor’, ‘Rice rice baby’ and ‘Naaneater’, amongst many others.

Hidden away on the flipside of the lid, is the event details foil blocked onto mirror board.
